Still performing perfectly

After plenty of time on the water, everything still feels tight and solid. Guides, reel seat and blank have all held up exactly as they should.

I've used it mainly for drifting and a bit of trolling, including several long fights with good fish. The thing I appreciate most is that the power is always there, but the rod remains predictable and comfortable when you're really leaning into it.

At this point it's one of those rods I just feel good having on the boat when I'm targeting something serious.

Excellent trolling setup

Paired the bent butt version with my trolling setup and couldn't be happier. Very solid connection, smooth under load and plenty of lifting power.

Shipping was also quicker than expected and the rod came extremely well packed.

Worth it for the hard fights

I've had a couple of fights that went on much longer than expected and that's where this rod earned its place on the boat.

The power is obvious, but what surprised me more was how manageable it remains when you're under load for a long time.

One of those fish took forever to come up, and landing it with this rod is probably one of the reasons I like the Invictus so much now.

Solid big game rod

Strong, dependable and comfortable. Not much more I need from a big game rod.

80/100 has incredible power

The 80/100 is a serious piece of equipment. I bought it specifically for bigger fish and it definitely has the reserve power I was looking for.

Despite the strength, it still feels surprisingly refined.

When you finally get a big fish alongside the boat after a hard fight, you really appreciate having that extra power in reserve.

Confidence when things get serious

It's one of those rods that makes you feel very secure once a big fish is on. The blank loads nicely and stays predictable even when you're putting a lot of pressure through it.

That confidence is probably what I like most about it.

30/50 is perfect for my fishing

I've been using the 30/50 for drifting and I'm very happy with the choice. Powerful enough to put serious pressure on fish but still manageable during long sessions.

It doesn't feel like you're holding an oversized broomstick all day.

After a few good fish on it, it's become one of those setups I trust without really thinking about it.

Very well made

Fuji guides, strong aluminium reel seat and a really clean finish. Arrived well protected too.

Made for long fights

This is where the Invictus really stands out for me. With a big fish that refuses to come up, the rod gives you enough power to keep gaining line without making the fight harder than it needs to be.

The balance between strength and comfort is excellent.

Had one long fight last season where I remember thinking halfway through that I was very glad I had this rod in my hands.

Very stable under load

The spiral guide setup works really well when the rod is under serious pressure. Everything stays stable and controlled throughout the fight.

The bent butt version is a beast

I went for the bent butt model for trolling and it has been excellent. Once you're in the chair and the rod is properly loaded, the whole setup feels very controlled.

Plenty of lifting power without the blank feeling dead.

The first really good fish I landed on it completely sold me on the rod.

A lot of power in reserve

I've used the 30/50 on several big fish and there's always more power available when you need to push harder. Very comfortable during longer fights too.

Excellent build quality

Very solid rod, beautiful finish and top quality components. Exactly what I expected.

Every time I pick it up it feels like proper big game gear.

Built for serious fish

You immediately notice how much power this rod has, but it never feels unnecessarily heavy. I've used it mainly drifting and it gives you a lot of confidence when a good fish settles into a long fight.

It's one of those rods that makes you feel properly prepared when things suddenly get serious.
