Rock Toy

I've used the Rock Toy a lot this year and it's probably made me appreciate light rock fishing more than I did before.

The solid tip picks up very subtle bites, the fast action gives excellent lure control and there's enough power through the middle of the blank when you hook something stronger than expected.

Most importantly, it's just fun. I think that's what this kind of rod should be about.

It's become my rod for those short sessions when I suddenly get an hour or two free.

Light gear, a few small lures and the Rock Toy. Nothing complicated, just really enjoyable fishing.

The tip is obviously very fine and sensitive, but the middle of the rod has more reserve power than I expected.

Had a better fish surprise me close to the rocks and I never felt out of control.

Sensitive, comfortable and well finished. The Fuji components feel good and the rod came well packed.

Not every fishing day has to be about catching something huge.

I had an afternoon recently where the fish were small but very active and I honestly had more fun than on some big fish trips. This rod makes that style of fishing really addictive.

The solid tip gives you an incredible amount of information.

You feel the lure, the bottom and those tiny touches that sometimes make the difference between catching and not catching.

Light rod, fast action and a very sensitive tip. Really easy to work small lures accurately.

This is exactly why I wanted a proper rock fishing rod.

Even small fish are really enjoyable on it, but the rod doesn't feel like a toy when something better comes along.

The solid tip is excellent. Tiny bites are very easy to detect.
