Built for this kind of shore fishing

I've used it from open beach, rocks and higher ledges.

The combination of casting distance, sensitivity and the more forgiving parabolic action works really well. It has enough length to control line around difficult water without turning every fish fight into a wrestling match.

Nice rod and quick delivery

Good finish, good casting and comfortable grip. Arrived on time and very well protected.

A fish I'll remember for a while

Had a good fish hit in rough water close to the rocks.

There were a few nervous moments, but the way the rod bends helped keep everything under control without pulling hooks. Seeing that fish finally slide into the wash was a very good feeling.

The 97 gives me the reach I wanted

Most of my fishing involves needing that little bit of extra distance, so I went for the longer model.

It loads nicely on the cast and still gives plenty of control once the lure is working.

Very balanced shore rod

Sensitive, comfortable and not too stiff. Works both soft plastics and hard lures nicely.

Love the 86

8'6" is perfect for the places I fish. Long enough to cast well but still easy to work around the rocks.

Great from the rocks

Good casting distance and very nice control of hard lures. The parabolic action feels excellent once a fish is on.
