Tai Rubber Toy 69

After several months I'm very happy with it.

The sensitivity gives excellent information from the lure and bottom, while the progressive parabolic action keeps constant pressure once a fish is hooked. It feels designed specifically around the technique rather than adapted from another type of rod.

Mine also arrived very well protected.

There is something really enjoyable about feeling the lure working all the way down and knowing exactly when it reaches bottom.

Had a beautiful fish take very softly on the retrieve and the rod loaded almost by itself. One of my favourite sessions this year.

Had a morning where the fish were barely touching the lure.

Being able to feel those tiny contacts made a big difference. Once the rod loads, the parabolic action keeps everything smooth.

The progressive bend keeps good pressure on the fish. Light and comfortable too.

Very easy to feel the lure touching bottom and the small changes during the retrieve. Exactly what I want from a Tai Rubber rod.
