Bass Stick 72S MH

I've got lighter Bass Stick rods for finesse work, but the 72S MH fills a completely different role.

It's still only 123 g and feels very balanced, but the fast action and stronger mid-section make it much better for jigs, Texas rigs and situations where I need more authority.

Very useful rod and one that's getting a lot of time on the water.

Hooked a good bass right beside some nasty cover and didn't have much room to play with.

The rod loaded quickly and gave me enough power to turn the fish before it buried me. That was probably the moment I really started liking this rod.

I wanted a spinning setup with more power for fishing jigs and Texas rigs close to cover.

The 72S MH gives enough feedback to fish slowly and feel what's happening, but once a fish eats there's enough backbone to move it quickly.

Fast, sensitive and comfortable. The cork grip feels great during longer sessions.

Really surprised by how light and balanced it feels. Fast response and a lot of control with jigs.

Sensitive enough to feel the bottom clearly and plenty of power when it's time to set the hook.
