I've used it from open beach, rocks and higher ledges.

The combination of casting distance, sensitivity and the more forgiving parabolic action works really well. It has enough length to control line around difficult water without turning every fish fight into a wrestling match.

A fish I'll remember for a while

Had a good fish hit in rough water close to the rocks.

There were a few nervous moments, but the way the rod bends helped keep everything under control without pulling hooks. Seeing that fish finally slide into the wash was a very good feeling.
