One of my favourite heavy bass rods now

I've put a lot of time into this rod over the season and really like the balance.

It's fast without being unpleasantly rigid, gives enough feedback to fish a jig confidently and has the reserve power I want for flipping and pitching. Most importantly, when a fish eats close to cover I don't hesitate. I know I can lean on the rod.

Great with jigs and frogs

I've mainly used it with jigs but have also thrown frogs with it. Quick enough to work the lure properly and strong enough for fishing around cover.
