The Special One S

I've put quite a few demanding sessions on the Special One S and everything still feels tight and solid.

The parabolic action makes long fights much more manageable, the short format gives excellent leverage and there's plenty of power lower in the blank when a fish refuses to come up.

It's one of those pieces of tackle that simply feels right when the fishing gets serious.

After several good fish I don't really think about the rod anymore when something serious takes the jig.

I know I can lean on it and the blank will keep working. That confidence is probably the thing I value most.

Strong, compact and comfortable. Does exactly what I need it to do.

Bought the 500S specifically for heavier jigging and bigger fish.

It has serious power, but what impressed me most is that it still feels controlled rather than just brutally stiff.

I expected something this powerful to be tiring, but it's actually very comfortable once loaded.

The short blank and smooth bend make it easy to keep constant pressure.

The 400S is a serious jigging rod. Plenty of reserve power when you need to put real pressure on a fish, but the parabolic action keeps it manageable.

Nice Fuji setup, comfortable handle and a very clean finish. Arrived well packed too.

Had an amberjack stay deep for much longer than I wanted.

The rod kept steady pressure throughout the fight and never felt harsh. When we finally saw the fish coming up underneath the boat I remember thinking how much easier the rod had made the whole thing.

I've used the 300S for quite a few trips now and it has a really nice balance between power and comfort.

You can work the jig properly, but when a good fish loads the blank the rod bends progressively instead of fighting against you.

Strong rod without feeling brutally stiff. The EVA grip is comfortable and the action works well during the fight.

Using the 200S and really like the balance. Plenty of feel when jigging and much more backbone than you expect once a fish is on.
